About Dodger
His Story
Dodger joined our foster home in September 2024 when his previous owner realized they couldn't give this sweet soul the attention he deserved. Like many young dogs, Dodger thrives on connection and companionship. In our foster home, he's shown what he can do with love, gentle guidance, and plenty of snuggle and play time - proving himself to be an affectionate, tender-hearted companion.
We've had the joy of seeing Dodger's loving nature blossom over the past few months. He's melted hearts with his gentle demeanor, sharing peaceful afternoons with our resident dog, and bringing his energetic love to every situation. His sweet nature shows through everywhere - from careful interactions with small dogs to his patient demeanor around children.
True to his husky heritage, Dodger brings an interesting mix of wisdom and tenderness. He's calm and dignified, often choosing to observe before settling in for cuddles - a surprisingly mature trait for his young age. While he may not be food-obsessed (classic husky!), he's wonderfully attuned to his humans and learns through positive guidance. His thoughtful nature makes his moments of affection even more precious, and he's shown himself to be wonderfully trustworthy and well-mannered in the house.
